Glass Type
Tempered Glass: Required. Breaks into small granules, preventing cuts.
Laminated Glass: Recommended for high-rise buildings or children's play areas. The PVB film in the middle prevents glass shards from flying.
Load Capacity
Single-layer glass railings must withstand a horizontal load of ≥1.5kN per linear meter (GB 50352-2019 "Unified Standard for Design of Civil Buildings").
Post spacing is recommended to be ≤1.2m to ensure overall stability.
Installation Method
Base Fixing: Pre-embedded steel plate or chemical anchors; the strength of the base structure must be checked.
Side Fixing: Use U-shaped channels or metal clamps; allow for thermal expansion and contraction gaps.

Safety Certification
Check for the CCC mark (China Compulsory Certification) on the glass and request a quality inspection report.
Outdoor glass must have an anti-UV coating to prevent aging.
Aesthetics and Maintenance
Frameless designs are simpler, but require regular inspection of connectors; framed designs are more stable, but may obstruct the view.
For cleaning, it is recommended to use a neutral detergent to avoid corroding the sealant.
