1. Try pressing the handle down or lifting it up.
2. Check if the window handle is loose or completely immovable. Look for the back cover of the handle; open it to see the Phillips head screws securing it. How to open it? It's simple: rotate the outer cover 90 degrees. Use a Phillips head screwdriver to remove the screws. Pull the handle out; you can see if there are any broken or rusted parts inside. Replace it with a new one, and then use a screwdriver to reinstall the screws according to the three holes on the window.
3. Aluminum alloy sliding window sashes should have an opening and closing stress of no more than 100N, consistent color, and single-phase two-hole design. Quality can be roughly judged from the selection of raw materials (aluminum profiles), the surface treatment and internal processing quality of the aluminum material, and the price of aluminum alloy doors and windows.
4. Casement windows have the advantages of large opening area, good ventilation, good sealing, and excellent sound insulation, heat insulation, and water resistance. Inward-opening windows are easy to clean; outward-opening windows don't take up space when open. The disadvantages are smaller window size and a less open view. Outward-opening windows require space outside the wall to open and are easily damaged in strong winds; while inward-opening windows take up more interior space, making it inconvenient to use screens or curtains when the window is open, and if the quality is poor, rain may leak in.
